Paul, Debra, Ashley English and Ashley's Fiance Aino, welcome you to the Kings Head at Docklow. We purchased the closed down Pub in March of 2021 and had just 18 days to get it ready to open outside as covid restrictions were relaxed in stages. A very good friend and chippy, pulled out all the stops to build our now famous pods, so you can sit outside in inclement weather.
On the day that we opened, nearly every local resident came to wish us well, and to welcome their pub, back into the community. We firmly believe, a pub should be at the Heart of the community as well as being, the meeting place for new people. A Traditional Pub in the middle of the Countryside.
We have no intentions of trying to be a Gastro Pub, Just a traditional Pub with well kept Great Beer, also offering Traditional Pub Food. From our home made Steak and Ale Pies, to our home produced Beef Lasagne or Vegetarian Lasagne. Prepared in our newly updated and extended Kitchen at a reasonable Price. Our newly refurbished Restaurant can be used, or you can have your food in the Bar, in a pod in the garden or on a picnic table on the lawn. The choice is yours. We also offer the Restaurant for private functions and Christmas Lunches.

As a family run pub, children are most welcome. The Play area, Lego tables, Giant connect 4 and loads of Family Board Games will keep them occupied. Whilst our fully fenced Garden, means you can relax and enjoy your Drink.
This family run Freehouse is located on the A44 Leominster to Worcester Road around 4 miles East of Leominster. It is open from 11.00 a.m. until 11.00 p.m. 7 days a week.
Food is served from 11.00 a.m. until last food orders at 10.30 p.m. Our full Menu is available all day.
We have one of the best Views in Herefordshire from our beer garden. So come and visit us , and sit and relax in one of our purpose built pods or sit on a Picnic Table on the Lawn.
We have at least 3 Real Ales served by Traditional Hand Pumps always available and regular Guest Beers in addition. 4 Lagers with the ever popular Carling, Veltins imported Pilsner Lager, Madri and Wye Valleys very own 1985. Locally produced Robinsons Flagon Cider, Stowford Press, Level Head Kegged Pale Ale as well of course Draught Guinness, with Wye Valley Nightjar Stout. Backed up by a huge range of Bottled Beers and Spirits.
